Dr. Johnny Wan is a management consultant and trainer, with over 20 years of management experience in academic, public and commercial sectors. He is keen on HR development strategies, business model, talent management, strategic mindset and leadership development. He is also a seasoned trainer on coaching and interpersonal skills.

Since 1983, Johnny has worked for The Chinese University of Hong Kong as the Associate Professor in strategic management. In 2009, he took the role of Director of Industry Liaison in the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, mainly responsible for the implementation of the teaching hotel project and the management of the Hyatt Learning Center. Besides university teaching, Johnny was the Learning & Development Director in the Hong Kong Disneyland in 2007, and a superintendent (training specialist) in the Hong Kong Police College in 1998.

In recent years, Johnny has provided consultancy service and learning programs for organizations such as Wyeth Nutrition, Siemens, Bupa Insurance, Rotam, Hong Kong Housing Authority, MTRC, The Open University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management, CUHK-EMBA, Hong Kong Council of Social Service, Hong Kong Police, Tipping Point Conference, Asia Association of Management Organizations Conference 2013, Bank of China (Macau) and Macau Management Association.

In his profession, Johnny is a Certified Management Consultant, a Fellow member in the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management, a practitioner in MBTI and NLP, and a trainer in Enneagram and Coaching with Empathy.

Johnny holds a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Ottawa in Canada, an MBA degree from the University of Hong Kong, and a Ph.D. degree in management from Louisiana State University in USA.
