Dr. Johnny Wan is a management consultant, with over 25 years of management experience in academic, public and commercial sectors. Johnny is keen on strategic planning and leadership development. He is also a seasoned trainer on empathy, mentoring/coaching and management effectiveness skills.

In recent years, Johnny has provided consultancy service and learning programs for organizations such as CK Hutchison Holdings, A.S. Watson Group, Hutchison Telecom, Hong Kong Insurance Authority, Genting HK, Heinemann HK, KMB, Sun Hung Kai Properties, Synergis Management, Yoshinoya, Dragonair, Wyeth Nutrition, Siemens, Bupa Insurance, Rotam, Hong Kong Housing Authority, MTRC, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management, CUHK-EMBA, Caritas Hong Kong, Hong Kong Council of Social Service, NP360, Hong Kong Police, Bank of China (Macau), Macau Police, and Macau Management Association.

Prior to his consultancy career, Johnny was Associate Professor in management at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Superintendent in Hong Kong Police Force and Director-Learning & Development in Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.

Johnny is currently a Certified Management Consultant and a fellow member in the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management. He is also a certified practitioner in MBTI, DISC, NLP and Enneagram; an honorary institute fellow in the Asia-Pacific Institute of Business of CUHK; an Honorary Advisor in Hong Kong Police College; and a registered mountain craft coach in China Hong Kong Mountaineering & Climbing Union.

Johnny holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Ottawa in Canada, a MBA degree from the University of Hong Kong, and a Ph.D. degree in management from Louisiana State University in USA.
